Vongerichten to Achatz: WTF?

Jean-Georges Vongerichten

When Jean-Georges Vongerichten experienced the Alinea takeover of Eleven Madison Park early fall, he was completely blown away by the food, the presentation and the sheer feat Grant Achatz pulled off by successfully swapping restaurants across the country with Daniel Humm. Now, Vongerichten wants to know how he pulled it off: Was it Achatz' skill, experience, dedication to culinary excellence ... or a little something else? Watch below to see Vogerichten ask this burning question, and Achatz's high-larious response.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this site could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche. Superb blog!

Cooking at the next level....
Jean-George is extremely talented with an imagination that instills new life into beloved classic cuisine on a daily basis. For over half my lifetime I thought it couldn't get any better than that. And the truth is, it doesn't, but it can take a magical twist. Grant applies that magic for those of us who appreciate divine intervention through dreams. Besides Grant's 'off the wall' brilliant creativity involving settings for the dishes, Chemistry II plays a part that leaves the diner astonished! Can't wait for the next segment!
